FAQ
What is Foldly?
A website where you paint a flat square, watch it fold into a 3D origami model, and then share the result as a link, picture, or video.
Who is it for?
Kids, parents, and teachers. All four starting models are beginner-friendly.
Do I need real paper?
No, you can paint and fold on screen. But each model has step-by-step instructions if you want to fold it for real with one square of paper.
Which models can I fold?
Paper cup, cat face, dog face, and tulip. MarCO is on the Paper models shelf: a net of a CubeSat, not a fold from one square.
How do I share my fold?
Use Copy link, Download picture (PNG), or Download video on the share panel. A share link has a size limit. Past that, download a picture or a video.
Can I use it in class?
Yes. Every model page has a teacher note with classroom tips.
Does Foldly count visits?
Foldly counts visits with a small counter on our own server (stats.srv1536099.hstgr.cloud). Each page view sends the page path, the referring site (domain only), any utm tags and your screen width. No cookies, no IP addresses stored, no ad or analytics companies. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected, or switch off counting below.
