Foldly turns a flat square into a folded surprise.
Origami begins with one square of paper. With Foldly, you paint that square first, using any colors, patterns, or doodles you like. Then you choose a model and watch your square fold into 3D, one step at a time. You'll see exactly where your painting ends up on the cup, the cat's ears, or the dog's muzzle.
When it's done, share your fold as a link, a picture (PNG), or a video.
Foldly is made for kids, parents, and teachers. Every model comes with plain step-by-step instructions, so you can fold the real thing with real paper too.
The origami models are a paper cup, a cat face, a dog face, and a tulip.
A separate Paper models shelf holds MarCO, a fold-up net of a NASA CubeSat. It is not folded from one square. The drawing is ours. NASA and JPL have not endorsed it.
